Katelyn Davis is an aspiring broadcaster, wanting to pursue her field in either sports or meteorology. Katelyn will graduate with her associates in science this spring with hopes of transferring to UW Madison. She wrote for her high school’s weekly newspaper and was the editor-in-chief her senior year alongside her classmate Hannah LaMotta. Katelyn was a three sport athlete all through high school, where her love for sports grew. She participated in cross-country, track and field, and her favorite -- basketball. Katelyn grew her love for meteorology over the years but really took interest when she took her Meteorology class at McHenry County College with Professor Paul Hamil. Later Katelyn worked in MMCs weather office, but can no longer due to Covid, but she still keeps track of the radars at home. She hopes to one day be able to make her parents proud while she broadcasts live on the television.
