October: Lilli Leggett, a Marian Central Catholic graduate, is a sophomore setter on the Women’s Volleyball team.

“Lilli is the ultimate teammate, a developing leader, hard worker, and fantastic student representative for our program,” said Head Coach Kyle McCall.

Leggett played a pivotal role in the team’s Region IV Championship, placing 7^th in the NJCAA national tournament, finishing the 2019 season 25-21. Leggett was also an All-Region tournament team selection member and looking forward to what this year may have in store for her.

She also excels in the classroom, earning ISCC Academic All-Conference honors in 2019-20.  She is on track to graduate as an NJCAA Academic All-American.

November: Freshman soccer player Payton May is November’s Student-Athlete of the Month. The 6′ midfielder is a graduate of Richmond-Burton High School. When he was a senior, Payton’s high school team won regional and sectional titles. We look forward to seeing his talents displayed on the pitch this spring.

“Payton has met the challenges of this year with maturity and sense of purpose. He is well on his way to earning ISCC All-Academic Conference honors this year. We are proud of his determination and focus this semester,” said Director of Athletics, Karen Wiley.
