Freshman Lorenzo Eichholz, a backfield defender for MCC’s men’s soccer team, was recognized for his accomplishments as a Student Athlete of the Month.
Eichholz, who graduated from Harvard High School, is a member of MCC’s Student-Athlete Council. The council is run by the college’s athletic department. Eichholz also has the potential to earn recognition for his academics, through the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference, Eichholz can earn All-Conference All Academic honors. Men’s soccer head coach Joshua Hill, and the athletic director Karen Wiley, have expressed their pride in Eichholz for his dedication, passion, and hard work throughout his academic and athletic endeavors.
