Come learn about the MCC University Center
MCC is hosting several information sessions this fall regarding the University Center. The University Center, housed in Woodstock, allows students to obtain degrees beyond those MCC offers. The University Center partners with four universities in Illinois: Aurora University, Roosevelt University, Northern Illinois University, and Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Students can choose from a selection of programs at each university, but Roosevelt University’s programs are awaiting final approval.
The University Center is set to begin offering classes in the Fall 2024 semester. Students can earn a variety of degrees from each university, including bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Students enrolled at the University Center can access MCC resources and those from their university.
The upcoming information sessions will allow students to receive information about their chosen university and the University Center itself. Students will also be able to ask questions and meet with representatives from their university of choice.
The information sessions are Nov. 7 at 6 p.m., Nov. 15 at 2:30 p.m., and Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. The sessions will are in-person, excluding the Nov. 15 session, which will be on Zoom. Participants are strongly encouraged to register before the event.
Questions about the University Center can be emailed to [email protected]. Those
interested could also ask questions via phone, 815-479-7793. More information can be found at https://www.mchenry.edu/ucenter/
