Fall semester is breezing past and for those who are graduating this winter, here’s a crash course on how to prepare.
If you plan on attending the commencement ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 13, and would like guests to attend, all graduation candidates MUST submit the graduation application through the myMCC self-service before November 1, 2025, to receive guest tickets for seating in the gymnasium to guarantee their attendance to the ceremony.
If you submit later than the November 1 deadline and plan on attending with guests, due to the limited space in the gym, they will be seated in the Luecht Auditorium.
Before you submit your application, make sure to check to see if you have met all of the requirements towards your specific degree. You can find your progress through myMCC >self-service > student planning> My progress.
Here’s how to submit your application: Go to myMCC and select “self- service”, then select “Graduation overview” and select “apply.” Now, you have the option to attend the commencement ceremony. With the choice of yes you have the option to order your cap and gown which is included within the application. Make sure to order them before the deadline of November 1 After that, all you have to do is submit your application, and you’re done.
August and December graduates are invited to attend the winter graduation commencement on Saturday, December 13, at 10 a.m. For more information go to https://www.mchenry.edu/graduation/
