MCC is hosting a Repair Fair on April 15 in the building B commons area from 4-8 p.m. At this event attendees will be able to connect with experts who are masters of repairing and reusing with the goal of less waste for the environment. Some of the experts are people who reuse lamps and light fixtures, small household appliances such as toasters and blenders, repair clothing (no tailoring) and bicycles. However, no repairs available on electronics (phones, computers, and computer screens). It is a first come, first serve event and everything must be able to be repaired in under an hour. This event is cosponsored by the MCC Sustainability Center and the Environmental Defenders of McHenry County. For more information visit https://www.mchenry.edu/events/2025/04/green-04-15.html
